Cartier were one of the most important luxury retailers in the world by the 1970s and would often retail watches made for them by other watch brands, such as this watch made by Piaget.

The yellow gold Piaget case is in beautiful original condition with embossed five minute markers in the bezel of the case.
Piaget is known as being the masters of stone work and this is beautifully demonstrated on the dial, which is made from honey onyx and has a very discreet Cartier signature at the top.
The hands are gold dauphine style and the watch has a red cabochon winding crown; a rare touch for a Piaget piece but perfect for this Cartier retailed watch! The Piaget manual wind movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
